Executive Health Screening

Senior staff are at particular risk of impaired wellbeing through stress, poor sleep, undetected physical health conditions and possible limited exercise opportunity. Our Executive Health Assessments are designed to optimize the health and performance of your key staff by providing a detailed health profile and instigating motivation to make sustained lifestyle change.

Choose from our pre-defined executive medicals, or alternatively, we will work with you to produce bespoke assessments satisfying role specific risks and requirements.

Health is a journey, not a destination. Therefore, we recommend an annual programme for key executives to focus on their long-term health.  Following the assessment, staff receive a personalised health report including a summary of the identified health issues, key recommendations for change and suggested follow-up interval.

Our pre-defined Executive Health Screening Assessment includes:

  • Review of past medical history and current health problems
  • Lifestyle assessment
  • Height, weight, body mass index
  • Pulse and blood pressure measurements
  • Electrocardiogram (ECG)
  • Lung function test (Spirometry)
  • Hearing screening test
  • Urinalysis
  • Blood test: full blood count, kidney, liver, thyroid, lipids, diabetes screening, urate (additional tests may be undertaken as appropriate)
  • QRISK3 cardiovascular risk estimation score
  • Physical examination of cardiovascular, respiratory, gastrointestinal and skin bodily systems (additional systems may be examined as appropriate)
  • Health education on self-examination and awareness of breast and testicular cancer
  • Gender specific options: For males, testicular examination and prostate specific antigen (PSA) blood testing is offered. For females, breast examination and Ca125 ovarian cancer tumour marker blood testing is offered.

*Chaperones are offered for all intimate examinations – please refer to Island Occupational Health Chaperone Policy for more details.
