ACNE CLINIC now available
Our clinic is led by Dr Maitiu O Tuathail our GP with extended role (GPwER) in Dermatology.

All forms of acne can be treated at our clinic, including severe acne and acne that hasn't responded to other treatments.

Where clinically appropriate, treatment options such as Isotretinoin also known as Roaccutane may be offered.

Doctor Leaving The Practice
After 10 years at Island Medical Centre Dr Pierce will be leaving the practice in August 2025 to move to the UK for family reasons.
Training Practice
Island Medical Centre are now a training practice, allowing us to train future GP's.

We will have Dr Govind Kumar joining us at the practice from February 2025 for 1 year.
New Doctors
Island Medical Centre have two new doctors who joined the practice in January 2025.

Dr Joseph Bell and Dr Sarah Care will be working in the St Helier surgery.

ANNUAL BIRTHDAY HEALTH CHECK
From January 1st, 2024, we have changed when we invite patients, with certain medical conditions, for their annual review to their birthday month.

If you have a long-term condition such as diabetes, asthma, or chronic obstructive airways disease (COPD), you will receive an invitation, either by text or letter, to book your annual review, with the Practice, during your birthday month.

Our travel clinics are open to all patients registered at Island Medical Centre. These are run by our dedicated Health Care Practitioners.

We advise you make an appointment at the travel clinic at least 4 to 6 weeks before your departure date. Please be aware we can't not answer individual enquiries by email or phone.
