Dr Mithani studied medicine at King’s College London, graduating in 2010.
His post graduate junior doctor rotations were completed in Nottingham and Derby.
Ali initially wanted to work as a paediatrician and completed a year of paediatrics, working with small children in the Accident & Emergency ward at the Royal Derby Hospital, before ultimately deciding to specialise as a GP. He has done a number of rotations ranging from psychiatry to cardiology and obstetrics.
Ali has since worked in a variety of jobs as a GP, including providing emergency care for patients in The Shard.
He made the wise decision of relocating to the beautiful island of Jersey in 2022 with his wife. They are enjoying raising their young family on the island.
Ali is a big sports fan and is hoping, now he is on an island, to finally learn how to sail.
