Dr Meredith studied at Trinity College Dublin and qualified in 2008. After working as a junior doctor in Ireland, she spent a year working in a hospital placement for Obstetrics and Gynaecology in New Zealand which she thoroughly enjoyed. She returned to Ireland to pursue her General Practice training and qualified as a GP in 2014. Dr Meredith worked as a GP in Ireland until late 2016, at which time she moved to Jersey and joined the Island Medical Centre.
Dr Meredith’s additional qualifications include her Membership of the Irish College of General Practitioners (MICGP) and Diploma of Royal College of Obstetrics and Gynaecology (DRCOG).
Dr Meredith is trained in the insertion and removal of the subcutaneous contraceptive implant (Nexplanon) and is trained in fitting of the Coil (hormonal and non-hormonal). She enjoys all aspects of medicine and has a particular interest in all aspect of women’s health and antenatal care, baby checks, immunisation clinics and paediatrics.
Having done a good deal of travel herself, Dr Meredith enjoys working in the IMC Travel medicine clinic also.
Dr Meredith is working as a full time GP Partner at IMC.
