Dr Baker trained at Cardiff Medical School and qualified in 2005. His postgraduate qualifications are MRCGP (Membership of the Royal College of General Practitioners), DRCOG (Diploma of the Royal College of Obstetrics and Gynaecologists) and DOCCMED (Diploma in Occupational Medicine).
During his training he joined the Royal Air Force, and subsequently graduated as an Officer from RAF Cranwell. He served as a Medical Officer in a number of locations, looking after servicemen and women and their families. He completed his GP training in 2011.
He joined Island Medical Centre in 2012 and works as a full time Partner.
His medical interests include Occupational Medicine, dermoscopy, general dermatology and minor surgery.
Outside of work Simon enjoys all things outdoors and spending time with his family.
